Psalms 73:25-26

“Whom have I in heaven but you?

And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

My flesh and my heart may fail,

but God is the strength of my heart

and my portion forever.”

God, I hate waiting but I will choose to trust because there is nothing else I can do. Restore unto me the joy of my salvation and renew a right spirit within me.

wait for it.

There will come a day, and when that day comes, I will SHOUT it all out – the sound of victory 🙂

So have your fun all you like right now.

You know what they say, the one who laughs last laughs best. : -) to you

Love.

Love only becomes annoying when you are doing (have done) something horribly wrong.

good advice

There will always be that one person who gets the better of you – the one who seems to be able to make you lose your words, lose your cool, or just make you break down.

Power. Why and how we let certain people have that over us, some sort of control over how we (re)act. And then how they can so easily abuse it. A lack of consideration, maturity, whatever the cause may be, some people just have it over us.

Their loss, I guess….they failed to see that there was so much more to you. They failed to see that, because of their carelessness, they broke something and it shattered into a gazillion pieces. And when that mended itself back together, it was too late.

Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and walk ahead. There is more to be seen, heard and experienced. And each little story adds flavour to your life, it makes you stronger.

little rewards

Yesterday at KFC, I had 3 tiny tots. I was going through the usual routine – let them play, making friends with a new tiny tot, then came story time. For one, I was quite surprised that they wanted to hear a story! And they were very well-behaved. E for one, wanted to help tell the story. Of course when we sat down and started with the story, they got a bit distracted for awhile but I managed to get them to say the important parts of the story – Jesus’ mummy is Mary, and Jesus’ daddy is Joseph. And an angel came to tell Jesus’ mummy that she will have a baby named Jesus.

The big surprise was at the end of the KFC session, when G came to pick A up, I asked A if she remembered what she learned that day, and I told her to tell mummy what she learned. She said Jesus’ mummy is Mary and Jesus’ daddy is angel…hehe (mummy G corrected her and said it was Joseph).

But wow, she remembered the story!

oh hellew~

*drools*

This is my new hobby. Looking out for prospective buys. I am actually cheap as,so I love scouting for bargains! Not really brand-conscious either, I like to go for the reasonable range. Can’t afford to spend so much money on just one thing! Hence, cheap as.

I did some “research” while I was in the city with JossJoss the other day, but I didn’t find anything 😦 Though JossJoss was only supposed to accompany me and not spend any $$ at all (!) she bought herself a pair of boots! Tsktsk…how impulsive!

Anyway, yes, I like to research before I spend any hard-earned cash. Especially when it’s hard-earned by my PARENTS! sobsob. So, I need to get a job like NOW already!

I’ll let the pictures do their thang and you’re very much welcome to *drool* with me!

      Dayspring speaks!

So, I subscribed to DaySpring emails awhile ago, and until recently I’ve never really taken them too seriously because they always just promote their store and their products. Or so I thought..

Anyway until late, I never read the contents of their emails but man, is everything reading into my life right now! The latest email I received from them said “There is no compromise in God’s purpose”. Previously, it was “JUST THINK, you are here by God’s choosing”, then “OUT of INsecurity”, “The rest of your story…”, “Hello Hope”, “When someone is hurting, C.A.R.E.” …..

Moral of the story: subscribing to Christian devotionals will do you good when you need it most!
