Theo’s modified meat dish
Theo and I held a Filipino Nite recently – just to give our LG friends a taste of Filipino food. I made Caldareta and Kare Kare while Theo made suman and another meat dish (modified). It was cool, we tried to converse in Tagalog the whole night, teaching the rest some simple words like “salamat” or “kamusta”. We had to bring out the dictionary though! But it was good fun. I was supposed to make adobo but there was already too much food. For dessert, I made a caramel flan, otherwise known as “Leche flan” to the Pinoys. Sorry no pics for the flan though! Everything was a success 😀 and everyone loved the food!
Just a quick update to vouch that I’m still alive. Prac is not killing me yet – I think the thing that will kill me though is the night classes I have to attend twice a week! Eeks!
